Magnasonic ultrasonic cleaners
Magnasonic's household range is best compared by timer and tank geometry. The CD2800 centers on a fixed short cycle, while UC22 and MGUC500 offer selectable presets. The shared jewelry-cleaner label should not hide differences in manuals or unresolved fit measurements.

How to choose within the range
Start with the approved cleaning task. A general eyeglass or jewelry label does not establish permission for every coating, stone or setting.
UC22 provides a documented shallow tank; CD2800 uses a single three-minute cycle. Compare those practical differences before small differences in frequency.
MGUC500's currently linked manual limits ultrasonic eyeglass cleaning to frames. Its current product page also conflicts on tank dimensions; we withhold a fit guarantee.
None of the reviewed household records establishes usable basket measurements. Tank dimensions can screen out oversized items, but should not produce a confirmed basket fit.
Choose a specific model for a supported routine rather than treating an extensive applications list as proof of universal compatibility.
| Model | Capacity label | Distinguishing details | Choose when |
|---|---|---|---|
| Magnasonic MGUC500 | 0.6 L nominal | Frequency: 42 kHz Fit data: Conflicting tank measurements; usable basket dimensions unknown | Your approved small-item routine needs several short timer choices and does not depend on unresolved basket measurements. |
| Magnasonic UC22 | 0.6 L nominal | Tank interior, L × W × H: 156 × 94 × 46 mm; not basket dimensions Presets: 90, 180, 280, 380, 480 seconds | You have approved shallow household objects and want selectable short cycles with documented tank measurements. |
| Magnasonic CD2800 | 0.6 L nominal | Tank interior: 137 × 91 × 53 mm; basket clearance unknown Cleaning cycle: One 180-second preset | You want a single short cycle for documented compatible small items rather than multiple timer selections. |
